TVS Motor Company has officially launched the Apache RTX 300 ADV in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the brand’s entry into the fast-growing mid-capacity adventure
segment, taking on rivals like the KTM 250 Adventure and the Yezdi Adventure. The motorcycle debuts the new RT-XD4 engine platform and blends long-distance touring ability with performance DNA. TVS has given the RTX 300 a rally-inspired design, including a forward-leaning mono-volume silhouette, beak-style front fender, tall windscreen, and muscular tank. The low seat height and balanced ergo-triangle offer confident control both on highways and trails. LED lighting with DRL blades and dynamic welcome animation creates a distinctive visual identity, while multiple luggage mounting points make it touring-ready out of the box.
TVS Apache RTX 300: Advanced Electronics Suite
The bike comes equipped with four ride modes, Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally, that adjust throttle response, traction control, and ABS settings. It also gets a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and map mirroring, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and headlamp controls. These features place it at the top end of its segment in terms of tech and rider aids.
TVS Apache RTX 300: Fully Adjustable, Long-Travel Suspension
The Apache RTX 300 is built on a steel trellis frame designed for optimal balance on and off the road. It gets long-travel WP suspension with inverted cartridge forks at the front and a mono-tube floating piston setup at the rear. This setup improves damping consistency, comfort, and handling on rough terrain, making the bike well-suited for touring and mild off-roading.
TVS Apache RTX 300: New 300cc Engine With Racing Pedigree
Powering the TVS Apache RTX 300 is a 299.1 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 35 hp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The motor uses TVS’s new RT-XD4 platform, featuring dual oil pumps, dual cooling jackets, and ride-by-wire throttle for crisp response. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, and bi-directional quickshifter. This makes it one of the most powerful and responsive ADVs in its class.
