BMW Motorrad is gearing up to reveal its most affordable adventure bike yet, the F 450 GS, at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan this November. The German brand dropped a short teaser on social media, showing
off a glimpse of the tank and graphics. The F 450 GS isn’t a complete surprise; its concept was first shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. But the production model is expected to be far more refined and road-ready. At its heart will be a newly developed 450cc parallel-twin engine, built in partnership with TVS. The motor is expected to make around 48bhp.

Built on a lightweight chassis, the F 450 GS will be designed to handle both city streets and light trails with ease. It will likely have 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The suspension setup includes upside-down forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Higher variants could even get a fully adjustable suspension.
In true BMW fashion, the bike won’t skimp on features. Expect all-LED lighting, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and a crisp 6.5-inch TFT display; similar to the ones seen on larger GS models. When it arrives, the BMW F 450 GS will take on rivals like the Honda NX500, CFMoto 450 MT, and the soon-to-launch Brixton Storr 500. More importantly, it’ll fill the space left by the now-discontinued G 310 GS, giving BMW a strong contender in the sub-500cc adventure category once again.

The India launch is expected sometime in early 2026, with prices likely starting around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). If BMW can pull this off, the F 450 GS could become the go-to option for riders looking for a premium yet accessible mid-capacity adventure bike, especially one wearing that iconic GS badge.
