Triumph Motorcycles revealed the Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition globally and this bike is limited to just 800 units worldwide. This special model is aimed at riders who appreciate heritage, character
and a good looking machine.
Triumph has used the Speed Twin 1200 RS as the foundation and reshaped it with classic design cues and a more focused riding position. The most noticeable change in this bike is the switch to clip-on handlebars and unlike regular handlebars that sit higher and closer to the rider, clip-ons are mounted lower, forcing the rider to lean forward, which creates a sportier posture and gives the bike that unmistakable café racer silhouette. Triumph has also removed the pillion pegs as standard, underlining the single-rider intent, although owners who want to carry a passenger can refit them later. A single brown seat paired with a removable rear cowl completes the old-school racer look. The Competition Green and Aluminium Silver paint scheme is highlighted by Empire Gold pinstriping and bold “Café Racer Edition” graphics on the fuel tank. The side panels wear a subtle number 12 graphic, while aluminium silver wheels, green-painted headlight bowl and fork protectors tie the whole design together. Small touches like bar-end mirrors, revised engine badges, blacked-out bolt covers and sculpted knee pads add to the bike’s premium feel.
This bike gets its power from a 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 103.5 bhp and 112 Nm of torque, which means strong acceleration and effortless performance, especially at low and mid engine speeds. The six-speed gearbox is paired with a slip-and-assist clutch, which makes gear changes smoother, while a factory-fitted quickshifter allows clutchless upshifts for a sportier ride. Riders can choose between Sport, Road and Rain modes, adjusting throttle response to suit conditions. Also Read: 2026 Renault Duster Official Accessories: Full List Inside
The chassis and hardware are equally serious as a tubular steel frame and aluminium swingarm form the backbone, while suspension is handled by fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks and premium Öhlins twin rear shocks. Braking is taken care of by twin 320 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema calipers, supported by cornering ABS for added safety.
With a seat height of 810 mm, a 14.5-litre fuel tank and a wet weight of 217 kg, the Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition strikes a balance between everyday usability and weekend indulgence. Each bike will come with a Certificate of Authenticity, reinforcing its limited-edition status, and Triumph says availability will begin from March 2026, depending on the market.
In a world increasingly dominated by digital dashboards and futuristic designs, Triumph’s latest offering remindes that sometimes, looking back can feel refreshingly modern.
