Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. Registers 15% Growth As E-Access Debut And Exports Lift January Numbers

Suzuki Motorcycle India has started the new year 2026 in a confident mood as the company reported 1,25,786 two-wheelers sold in January 2026 which is a healthy 15% year-on-year rise over the same month last year.

From the total, 1,00,296 units were sold in India, up 14% YoY, reflecting steady demand in the home market. Exports did even better, rising 21% to 25,490 units. That’s a sign Suzuki’s India-made two-wheelers are finding stronger acceptance abroad too.

Beyond vehicles, Suzuki’s spare parts business registerd Rs 895.6 million in revenue, up 20%, which matters because a healthy parts ecosystem usually translates to better availability, quicker service, and smoother ownership.

January also marked two important milestones, like, first, Suzuki crossed 10 million units in cumulative production in India, which is a reminder of its long-term commitment here, and second, the company began retailing its first electric

scooter, the Suzuki e-Access, stepping into the fast-growing EV space.

At the same time, Suzuki refreshed its motorcycle lineup with new colour options for the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250, which gives buyers more styling choices without changing the core mechanicals.

Deepak Mutreja, Vice President , Sales & Marketing, highlighted that this growth is supported by customer engagement, stronger after-sales service, and network expansion. In simple words, Suzuki is working as much on what happens after you buy the bike as on the bike itself.

One more factor quietly supporting Suzuki’s rise is its expanding dealership and service footprint across cities and smaller towns. With trained technicians, improved parts availability and faster turnaround times, customers and owners are experiencing smoother maintenance and fewer hassles. This strengthened last-mile presence is helping Suzuki convert first-time buyers into long-term, loyal customers.
