Aprilia has taken the wraps off its latest crossover scooter, the SR GT 400. This new addition expands Aprilia’s SR lineup with a larger, more performance-oriented offering. At its heart, the SR GT 400 uses
a 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine tuned to deliver 36 hp and 37.7 Nm of torque. The engine meets Euro 5+ emission standards and is paired with a CVT transmission. This setup promises strong acceleration and smooth performance across varied riding conditions. It has a 12-litre fuel tank and an expected range of about 300 km.
The SR GT 400’s design language clearly borrows from Aprilia’s sporty DNA. It features a tall adjustable windscreen, dual-pod LED headlamps, and prominent knuckle guards. The front apron has a muscular stance, while the step-up seat and extended tail give it a proper maxi-scooter silhouette. The seat should offer ample space for both rider and pillion, and the handlebar-footpeg-seat triangle is optimised for an upright riding position. The under-seat storage can accommodate a full-face helmet.

Aprilia has equipped the SR GT 400 with a five-inch TFT instrument console supporting smartphone connectivity through the Aprilia MIA system. Owners will be able to pair their phones to access music, navigation, and calls using voice commands. Other features include keyless ignition, a USB-C charging port, and dual-channel ABS.

Underneath, the scooter is supported by 41 mm upside-down front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, each offering 120 mm of travel. Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc with a four-piston calliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a two-piston unit. The SR GT 400 rolls on 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels wrapped in Mitas Enduro Trail tyres. Aprilia hasn’t confirmed an India launch yet.
