Nissan has officially launched the new N6 sedan in China and it is already catching attention for its value, design and long electric-only driving range. The N6 is a plug-in hybrid sedan which means it runs
mostly on electric power but also has a petrol engine for backup. This combination helps deliver strong performance, long range and excellent fuel efficiency.
The Nissan N6 is the second model in the brand’s new electrified lineup in China, following the fully electric N7 sedan. While both cars share a similar design language, Nissan says the N6 uses all unique body panels and has slightly different dimensions. At The N6 is 4,831 mm long, and is close in size to the US-spec Nissan Altima, which gives buyers a large and comfortable sedan at a fraction of the usual price. Its 570-liter boot also makes it practical for families and long trips.

The N6 uses a plug-in hybrid system that produces 208 hp and 320 Nm of torque, which gives it strong acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Most driving is done by the electric motor, while a 21.1 kWh battery supports an impressive 180 km (112 miles) of electric-only range on the CLTC cycle. This is significantly higher than most plug-in hybrids sold globally.
Nissan is offering the N6 in three trims: Pro, Max and Max+ and even the base model is packed with features. The entry-level version includes a 10.25-inch digital cluster, 14.6-inch touchscreen, electric sunroof, ambient lighting and 17-inch wheels. Higher trims add advanced driver-assistance tech, facial recognition and even a unique feature called the “AI Zero-Pressure Cloud Carpet Seat” with 49 pressure sensors and massage capability.
From the inside, the sedan runs on Qualcomm’s automotive processors (8775 chip on the top variant), ensuring smooth performance for infotainment and connected features. Nissan has also equipped the N6 with anti-motion sickness technology which makes rides more comfortable for passengers.
Deliveries of the N6 will begin from December 8 and Nissan has ambitious plans ahead, as by 2027, the company will launch four additional electrified SUVs to complement the N6 and N7, expanding its EV and hybrid portfolio in China’s rapidly changing automotive market.
For buyers who want modern technology and impressive electric range the Nissan N6 is shaping up to be one of the most compelling new sedans in China.
