Kia India has detailed the full variant-wise breakdown for the Syros EV, its second mainstream electric model, spanning seven trims across two battery options ahead of an expected price starting around Rs 15 lakh. Choosing between the 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery isn't just about range since it also changes which features and how much power you get, so picking the wrong trim could mean missing out on things like ventilated seats or ADAS entirely. Kia Syros EV: Which Battery Suits Your Needs?

The base Syros EV HTK comes only with the smaller 42kWh pack, while the range-topping

HTX+ and X-Line come only with the larger 51.4kWh unit; the HTK+ and HTX sit in between, offered with either battery. The smaller pack makes 135 hp and covers 443 km on a full charge while the larger one makes 171 hp, covers 526 km and gets from 0-100kmph in 8.1 seconds. Torque stays fixed at 255 Nm regardless of which battery you pick.

Every variant supports DC fast charging up to 100kW, taking roughly 39 minutes for a 10-80% top-up regardless of battery size. On an 11kW AC charger, the smaller 42kWh battery takes about 4 hours for the same 10-80% charge while the larger 51.4kWh pack takes closer to 4 hours 50 minutes.

Moving up, the HTK+ adds cruise control, HTX brings a panoramic sunroof and the ER-suffixed variants add alloy wheels, OTA updates and Kia Connect 2.0.
