VinFast has begun delivering VF6 And VF7 Electric SUVs to customers across select cities, including Kochi and Jaipur. VinFast made its grand entry into the Indian market in September 2025 with two stylish electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7.

VinFast VF6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a front-wheel-drive system. It is available in two variants - Earth and Wind. The VF6 delivers 174 to 201 horsepower and 250 to 310 Nm of torque, which depends on the version. It gives up to 468 km of range in a single charge as per ARAI tests.
Looking at the features, the VF6 is equipped with LED projector headlamps, a glass roof, keyless entry and start, cruise control, 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, traction control, hill-start assist and even a 360-degree camera system. It is designed to feel premium yet practical for everyday use.
The VinFast VF7 is available with 59.6 kWh or 70.8 kWh battery options. The higher-end versions, which are - Sky and Sky Infinity, get all-wheel drive and can produce up to 500 Nm of torque, which offers thrilling performance. The VF7 also adds luxury touches like heated mirrors, auto-dimming functions, a color head-up display (HUD) and signature lighting that enhances its futuristic approach.
In terms of pricing, the VinFast VF6 starts at Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the VF7 starts at Rs 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
With these launches, VinFast has officially entered one of the most competitive EV markets in the world. If the early buzz and social media excitement are anything to go by, the VF6 and VF7 could soon become serious contenders in India’s electric SUV space, which will give established brands good competition.
