The Oben Electric Rorr EVO has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. This matters for Indian buyers because it brings a performance-oriented electric motorcycle with usable range, fast charging, and practical features into a lower price band. Bookings are open at ₹777, with test rides and deliveries scheduled from June 2026 across 150 showrooms. The focus is on combining real-world usability with performance, rather than treating it as a niche electric alternative.
Performance, Range And Charging Details
The Oben Rorr EVO is powered by a 9 kW motor paired with a single-stage chain drive, designed to improve on-wheel torque and response. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 110 kmph, making it suitable
for both urban commutes and short highway runs.
The motorcycle offers a claimed range of 180 km (IDC), positioning it for daily usage without frequent charging. It supports fast charging, achieving 0-80% in around 90 minutes using the Oben Plug charger, while also offering onboard charging through the Oben Port.
A notable addition is SmartIQ, an AI-based ride mode that adapts to rider behaviour in real time to optimise efficiency, improving range by up to 15% without manual intervention.
Battery, Design And Practical Usability
The Rorr EVO uses a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, engineered for higher heat resistance and longer lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion setups. It is housed in a high-strength aluminium structure and backed by an 8-year warranty, aimed at improving long-term reliability.
In terms of usability, the bike offers 10 litres of total storage—split between under-seat and tank storage—along with dual USB charging ports. It also features a 680 mm long seat, 780 mm seat height, and 200 mm ground clearance, making it accessible and practical for Indian conditions.
Additional features include reverse mode and a 230 mm water-wading capability, which improve usability in urban traffic and varied road conditions.

Features, Safety And Buyer Impact
The Rorr EVO comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that provides navigation, ride data and alerts for calls, texts, and music. Through the mobile app, riders can access ride history, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, and theft protection, along with 24x7 service support.
Safety features include Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA) and a Driver Alert System. A wider rear tyre further improves stability during riding.
For Indian buyers, the Rorr EVO focuses on everyday practicality. The combination of range, fast charging, storage, and connected features makes it suitable for daily commuting. In practical terms, it aims to deliver an electric motorcycle experience that does not require trade-offs in usability or performance.
