TVS Motor Company has officially started delivering its first-ever adventure motorcycle, the TVS Apache RTX 300, which marks an important moment for both the brand and Indian motorcycling fans. After its launch in October, the bike is now reaching customers across the country.
The Apache RTX 300 is TVS’s entry into the fast-growing adventure tourer (ADV) segment, motorcycles built for long rides, rough roads, and everyday trips. The bike is priced between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in five colours- Viper Green, Tarn Bronze, Metallic Blue, Lightning Black and Pearl White.
Deliveries have already begun in Bengaluru and TVS will expand to other cities in a phased manner. Bookings are open nationwide for a token amount
of Rs 5,000, which has attracted strong interest from touring enthusiasts.

At the heart of the Apache RTX 300 is a newly developed 299cc liquid-oil cooled RT-XD4 engine. This engine produces 35.5 hp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm, making it capable of handling both city commuting and long highway rides.
The bike has a 6-speed gearbox paired with a bi-directional quickshifter, which allows smoother gear shifts without using the clutch. TVS has also equipped the motorcycle with an assist and slipper clutch, improving safety and reducing effort during gear changes.
Built on a strong steel trellis frame with an aluminum swingarm, the Apache RTX 300 looks and feels rugged. The bike has a muscular fuel tank, chunky side fenders, and a sharp windscreen, all contributing to its adventure-focused personality.
The front end features eye-shaped LED headlamps, slim LED indicators, and a beak-style front section commonly seen in adventure bikes. With a split seat setup and a dedicated luggage rack, the motorcycle is suitable for long tours and comfortable for both rider and pillion.
The TVS Apache RTX 300 comes loaded with technology to enhance the riding experience. It gets a full-color TFT screen that shows speed, navigation alerts, calls, SMS notifications, and even GoPro control.
The bike offers four riding modes-Tour, Rally, Urban, and Rain, which allows riders to adjust performance according to road conditions. For safety, it has multiple ABS modes, traction control with two settings, cruise control and tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). These features make the motorcycle smarter, safer, and easier to handle even for new riders.
With deliveries now underway, the TVS Apache RTX 300 is set to shake up the ADV motorcycle market in India. Its combination of modern features, strong engine performance, and attractive pricing makes it a promising option for beginners and touring lovers alike.
