At this year’s EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, one name drew both nostalgia and excitement which was ‘Norton Motorcycles’. Norton has made a come-back with a completely new lineup of motorcycles and a renewed global vision. With the Manx and Atlas range - four new models has been rolled out by the brand to blend Norton’s rich heritage with cutting-edge technology.
Grand Comeback, Powered by Indian Investment
Norton’s revival story began when TVS Motor Company, which is one of India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, acquired the British brand in 2020. Since then, TVS has invested over £200 million which is around Rs 2,100 crore to rebuild Norton from scratch. This investment went into a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facility in Solihull, UK, which can produce up to 8,000
motorcycles a year.
This isn’t just a factory reboot, but it is a complete transformation of the Norton brand, as the company has increased its workforce by 25% and unveiled a new Norton logo that reflects a bold, modern identity while staying true to its legendary roots.
Manx Range
At EICMA 2025, the showstopper was the Manx R and Manx, two motorcycles that represent Norton’s new design philosophy from blending performance to innovation.
The Manx R, which is Norton’s flagship superbike, is designed for riders who love adrenaline and sophistication. It features a high-torque engine, lightweight chassis and advanced electronics for an exhilarating yet refined ride. Handcrafted with precision, it represents the perfect mix of British craftsmanship and modern engineering.
Whereas, the Manx takes the same DNA but makes it more accessible, as it is a street-oriented version that combines comfort with thrilling performance, which is ideal for riders who want excitement in everyday rides. Both bikes highlight Norton’s new approach of performance with purpose and design with soul.

Atlas Range
Parallel to the Manx models, Norton also introduced two new adventure motorcycles - the Atlas and Atlas GT.
The Atlas is a rugged motorbike built for riders who love to explore both on and off the road. Its lightweight chassis and quick powertrain delivers fun, control and confidence across terrains. The Atlas GT adds a touch of touring comfort and sophistication, which is designed to handle long-distance rides with ease while still delivering the thrill.
Together, the Manx and Atlas ranges mark Norton’s entry into the modern performance and adventure segments, which sets the stage for a global expansion including an upcoming India launch.
Norton’s Global Vision
Under the leadership of Executive Director Richard Arnold and TVS Chairman Sudarshan Venu, Norton aims to become a truly global luxury motorcycle brand, as the company plans to expand its retail presence to over 200 showrooms across the UK, USA, Europe and India by 2026.
