Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch its next big electric SUV, the Mahindra XEV 9S, on November 27. The brand has released a new teaser on their official instagram handle, revealing exciting interior
details and features, giving us a clearer idea of what to expect from this seven-seater born-electric SUV from Mahindra.
The XEV 9S will be Mahindra’s third “born-electric” vehicle, following the XUV.e8 and XEV 9e. “Born electric” means it’s built purely as an EV from scratch, ensuring better space, balance and efficiency. Positioned above the XUV.e8, it is likely to be Mahindra’s most premium electric SUV yet.
Design and Interior
The teaser reveals a dark-themed cabin with silver seat accents and premium stitching, giving it a sporty and elegant vibe. The dashboard houses a three-screen setup, one each for the driver, infotainment and passenger which is creating a futuristic look. Adding to the premium experience is a Harman Kardon sound system, expected to support Dolby Atmos audio.
The XEV 9S also features soft-touch materials, memory function seats, an electronic parking brake and likely ventilated front seats. While Mahindra hasn’t shown the full seating layout yet, it is expected to have a 2-3-2 arrangement which is suitable and in demand for large families.
