At the 33rd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show (HCS) 2025 in Japan, Royal Enfield unveiled two extraordinary custom builds- VITA and Carolina Reaper. Both motorcycles were created through Royal Enfield’s global custom initiative, where top custom builders from around the world collaborate to reimagine the brand’s motorcycles in artistic and innovative ways.
The HCS in Japan is like the Oscars of custom bikes. It brings together designers, artists, and builders who transform regular motorcycles into one-of-a-kind machines. By showcasing two unique builds here, Royal Enfield reinforces its reputation as a brand that supports creativity and craftsmanship across continents.

VITA
The first showstopper, which is VITA, is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 650. Built by Custom Works Zon from Shiga Prefecture, Japan, the motorcycle blends modern engineering with old-school artistry. VITA features a fully hand-built hard-tail steel frame, a 650cc twin-engine from the Classic 650, a girder-style front fork, 26-inch wheels that add presence, panels crafted from unpainted aluminum and Mahogany wood inserts, which is a rare touch in motorcycles.
The result is a bike that looks like a piece of mechanical sculpture. The mix of metal and wood gives VITA an elegant yet raw appearance, which is something that grabs attention even at a show filled with custom masterpieces.
Carolina Reaper
The second creation, Carolina Reaper, comes from Cheetah Custom Cycles in Tokyo, led by renowned builder Toshiyuki Osawa. This motorcycle is built on the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, but its inspiration throws back to the wild and adrenaline-filled era of 1970s American flat-track racing.
It highlights a low, stretched flat-track stance, wide handlebars and a bare-bones, lightweight body, a stunning red-orange-black flame paint job across the tank and seat, exposed tubular frame and minimal rear subframe, a bright red side-mounted exhaust header, spoked wheels with red-accented rims, dirt-track inspired semi-slick tyres and a white number plate replacing the headlight.
The Carolina Reaper truly looks like it belongs on a racing oval, which is fast, fierce and ready to slide sideways.
By bringing VITA and Carolina Reaper to HCS 2025, Royal Enfield continues to show that it is not just a motorcycle manufacturer, but it is a brand that celebrates culture, craftsmanship and creativity. These builds highlight the versatility of Enfield’s platforms and their global appeal among top custom houses.
