The Tata Safari prices in India have been increased between Rs 10,000 and Rs 21,000 across petrol and diesel variants. Following the most recent 2026 Tata Motors price hike, the Tata Safari is now priced from Rs 13.40 lakh for the base petrol manual variant, while the range tops out at Rs 26.15 lakh for the fully equipped diesel automatic six-seater (all prices, ex-showroom). The biggest increase of Rs 21,000 has been applied to the Safari Pure X and Accomplished X petrol manual variants, resulting in new ex-showroom prices of Rs 16.70 lakh and Rs 21.05 lakh, respectively.
The Adventure X Plus petrol manual, Pure X diesel manual, Adventure X Plus diesel manual, and several automatic variants have become dearer by Rs 20,000.
The base Smart variants have witnessed a hike of Rs 10,000 to Rs 11,000. The top-of-the-line Accomplished X Plus and Accomplished Ultra variants have seen an increase ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000, depending on the powertrain and transmission.
Tata Safari Engine And Transmission Options
Tata Motors has not made any changes to the engine or features, which means the Safari SUV continues to be offered with a 2.0-litre Kryotec Diesel and a 1.5-litre Hyperion Turbo Petrol. They can be had with manual and automatic transmissions. Customers can also choose between a six- and seven-seat configuration depending on the variant.
