The Magnite SUV has always been the backbone of Nissan’s operations in India. Ever since its launch, the compact SUV has been the brand’s highest-selling and most important product in the country, helping it maintain its presence in the crowded sub-4 meter segment. Now, as the automaker is working to expand its portfolio with new offerings like the Gravite MPV and the upcoming Tekton SUVs, Nissan's halo product, the Magnite has been updated for 2026 in the form of a new Olive Bronze exterior colour option. The newly introduced Olive Bronze shade adds to the bold and rugged appearance. It adds to the SUV’s urban-friendly styling, and joins the existing palette, which includes Copper Orange, Onyx Black, and Metallic Grey.
Nissan Magnite Design
Nissan Magnite looks sporty
and bold. It has a large octagonal grille finished in gloss black, slim LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, silver skid plates, roof rails, and chunky body cladding. Despite its compact proportions, the SUV's muscular stance help it to maintain a proper SUV-like presence. Depending on the variant, the SUV also gets LED fog lamps, and a contrasting roof finish, among other features. The new Olive Bronze paint option adds to the SUV’s premium appeal and is likely to attract younger buyers looking something fresh and vibrant.
Nissan Magnite Engine
Mechanically, the Magnite remains the same, with two petrol engines on offer. Buyers can either opt for 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine or a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, AMT, and CVT gearbox, depending on the variant. The SUV is available in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, NConnecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.

CNG Retrofitment Option Expanded
Nissan recently expanded the availability of its CNG retrofitment option for the Magnite AMT. Earlier this year, the automaker had introduced the retrofitment kit for manual variants, and it is now being offered with the AMT versions as well. The CNG retrofitment kit is priced at Rs 71,999, and is being developed in collaboration with Motozen Fuel Systems. The kit can only be installed at authorised Nissan retrofitment centres.
