The Honda Amaze 3rd-generation has officially secured a 5-star safety rating for adult occupants and a 4-star rating for child occupants under the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash test program. This is the strongest safety rating the Amaze has ever received and it puts the sedan among one of the safest made-in-India cars for families.
Bharat NCAP is India’s crash-test safety system which is similar to Global NCAP and Euro NCAP. Cars tested under BNCAP undergo strict safety checks like frontal impact, side impact and child seat installation evaluation. A 5-star rating means the car can protect passengers extremely well in a real time crash.
Which Amaze Variants Were Tested?
The models tested included - V CVT, VX CVT and ZX MT. All are India-made and have
a sedan body with two seating rows and the tested vehicle weighed 1241 kg during the crash test.

Child Occupant Protection
For child safety, the Amaze scored 12/12 in CRS (Child Restraint System) installation and strong dynamic scores for both seat positions which are 7.81/8 for 3-year-old child dummy and 8/8 for 18-month-old child dummy. Safety Assist Technology
The Amaze comes standard with ESC, seatbelt reminders, ABS with EBD, airbag cut-off switch, rear defogger and child-safety locks.
For car buyers, safety should always be one of the biggest priorities. With strong structure, multiple airbags and top scores in crash tests, the Honda Amaze has proven to be one of the safest compact sedans on the market.
