Kia Carens Clavis Updated With New Variants - Everything You Need To Know

Kia India has refreshed its Carens Clavis range with the introduction of a new HTX(O) trim and additional 6-seater configurations across key variants. The highlight of the expansion is the HTX(O) trim,

priced at Rs 19.26 lakh (ex-showroom). It sits above the HTX variant and is powered by Kia’s Smartstream G1.5 Turbo-GDi petrol engine paired exclusively with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (7DCT). You can choose between 6- and 7-seater layouts.

Kia has equipped the new HTX(O) with a set of high-end features, including a BOSE Premium 8-speaker audio system, Drive Mode Select with Eco, Normal, and Sport settings, Smart Key Remote Engine Start, and an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold.

The feature list includes sliding, reclining, and one-touch electric tumble functionality for the second row. The cabin also features a 26.62-inch Dual Panoramic Display that merges infotainment and driver information, along with 64-colour ambient lighting and a dedicated infotainment-temperature control swap switch.

Kia has added new 6-seater options to the HTK+ and HTK+(O) variants. The HTK+ trim now comes with both petrol (G1.5T 7DCT) and diesel (1.5L CRDi VGT 6AT) engines, while the HTK+(O) is available with the petrol 7DCT setup. Following these updates, the Carens Clavis range now consists of eight trims: HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, HTX(O), and HTX+. The updated variants will reach Kia showrooms nationwide starting October 13, 2025.
