Nissan Motor India has officially clarified that all Magnite models are ready to run on E20 petrol, a fuel blend with 20% ethanol, which is part of the Government of India’s push toward cleaner and greener energy.
The company assured customers that whether you own a brand-new Magnite or an older one, your SUV is fully compatible with E20 fuel.
Nissan further explained that there are no major issues in using this fuel and any concerns that might come up during the transition will be carefully checked and resolved during routine service visits of the car. For those who love numbers, both the Magnite engines are E20-compliant- the 1.0L HR10 turbo-petrol engine has been E20-ready since August 2024 and the BR10 naturally aspirated engine became compliant in February
2025.

But Nissan isn’t just stopping at fuel compatibility, but has already earned a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, proving its place when it comes to safety and the brand has also introduced a first-in-segment 10-year warranty programme. This is a major step which shows Nissan’s long-term commitment to its customers and the auto industry.
Nissan also stated that it is aligned with India’s sustainable mobility goals, backing the government’s initiative to lower emissions and promote alternative fuels. The company also added that its mission is to bring continuous product innovation while keeping customer trust and environmental responsibility at the center.
