Hyundai India has revised the Creta Electric prices from 1 June 2026 with the range now starting at Rs 18.03 lakh (ex-showroom) now. Nine variants have gone up by Rs 600 each. It is not a large increase but if you are close to making a purchase decision, the updated figures matter. Not every variant is affected, so it is worth checking whether your shortlisted trim is on the revised list before heading to a dealership.
Which Variants Have Got More Expensive?
The Rs 600 hike for the Hyundai Creta Electric is not blanket — it applies to specific variants only. The ones affected are the Executive 42kWh, Premium 42kWh dual-tone, Premium 42kWh HC, Premium 42kWh HC dual-tone, Excellence 42kWh, Excellence 42kWh dual-tone, Excellence Knight Edition 42kWh, Excellence Knight Edition 42kWh dual-tone, and
the Smart (O) LR 51.4kWh. If your shortlisted variant is not on this list, your price remains unchanged. Either way, ask your dealer for the revised price sheet before you sign anything — verbal quotes at showrooms do not always reflect the latest figures.
New Price Range and What the Two Battery Options Offer
Post-revision, the Creta Electric is priced between Rs 18.03 lakh and Rs 24.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Two battery packs are on offer — a 42kWh unit and a 51.4kWh unit, with Hyundai claiming ranges of 390 km and 470 km respectively under standard test conditions. Keep in mind that real-world range will be lower depending on traffic, AC usage, and road conditions. On-road costs vary by city — Delhi buyers are looking at roughly Rs 19.16 lakh to start, while Mumbai and Kolkata are around Rs 19.12 lakh for the base variant.
What Should Buyers Actually Take Away From This?
A Rs 600 increase is not going to break anyone's budget but it is a reminder that EV prices in this segment are not locked in. If you are comparing the Hyundai Creta Electric with other options in the Rs 18-25 lakh range, factor in the full on-road cost — registration, insurance and whether your home or society has charging infrastructure sorted. The top-spec 51.4kWh variants are aimed at buyers who need more daily range or do longer intercity runs. Wherever you are in the buying process, get the updated ex-showroom price confirmed for your specific city and variant before finalising.
