Toyota Kirloskar Motor has issued a voluntary recall for select units of the Toyota Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser in India. The recall applies to 4,863 vehicles manufactured across different production periods and currently on Indian roads. According to the company, the affected vehicles may have an issue related to the parking assist control software, which could prevent the rear camera feed or parking assist view from displaying correctly on the screen when reversing. Toyota has stated that while the issue does not impact mechanical performance or driving safety in normal conditions, the recall has been initiated as a preventive safety and customer confidence measure.
