The second edition of Times Drive Auto Summit & Awards 2026, presented by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced its winners, recognising excellence across both four-wheelers and two-wheelers. The MG Cyberster has emerged as the Design Car of the Year, thanks to its striking and unconventional styling. The electric roadster was designed at SAIC’s London-based studio under Carl Gotham. It combines classic MG B-inspired styling with a modern electric look. The electric roadster, which sits at the high-end at MG portfolio in India, looks bold and futuristic. It stands out with its sharp LED headlamps, Kammback-style rear, and eye-catching scissor doors. The cabin is well-equipped with modern amenities such as a multi-screen layout with dedicated driver displays and a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other highlights include a Bose audio system, ambient lighting, and ventilated seats.
The electrified MG draws power comes from a 77kWh battery mated to dual motors, which produces 510hp and 725Nm. It can sprint from 0–100km/h in 3.2 seconds, and has a claimed range of up to 580 kilometres.
