Electric vehicles are becoming popular rapidly in India, but one question still worries many new buyers, which is - ‘Will charging and servicing be easy?’ Tesla has now answered that with a major announcement
that is set to change India’s EV landscape, as the company has revealed that its first all-in-one Tesla Center will officially open on November 27, 2025, in Gurugram, marking a huge milestone for Tesla India and for every Indian looking to switch to sustainable mobility.
Unlike traditional dealerships or service hubs, the Tesla Center at Orchid Business Park, Sector 48, Gurugram brings everything under one roof, like retail showroom, after-sales service, delivery area and a fast-charging station. Whether someone wants to explore an EV for the first time, take a test drive, collect their new Tesla or just charge their existing one, all services are available in one place, under one roof.
Tesla India’s General Manager Sharad Agarwal said that the company’s mission is to “accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy,” and this new center plays a major role in that. He also highlighted that Tesla is rapidly building a charging network to make EV ownership smooth, efficient and convenient across India.
Customers in Gurugram can test drive the Model Y, learn about the latest EV technologies, get after-sales support and charge their cars using the V4 Superchargers, which are the newest and fastest chargers Tesla offers. Tesla also brought something special to the center and that is the Optimus Gen 2, the company’s humanoid robot which is now displayed in Gurugram, Delhi and Mumbai to showcase Tesla’s progress in robotics and AI.
Since Tesla India’s launch in July, it has been expanding rapidly. It now operates 4 charging stations equipped with 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers across major cities. A Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes, which makes long trips easy and stress-free.
