Delhi EV Policy 2026 is now live with up to Rs 30,000 in purchase subsidies and full road tax exemption for electric two-wheelers priced under Rs 2.25 lakh ex-factory. That makes every scooter on this list eligible and the savings this year are the highest they'll be — incentives taper each year, so buying now gets you the most money back. It is important to note that Delhi Government will soon launch an EV portal as well, through which, buyers will be able to claim incentives within 30 days of vehicle registration. Here are five electric scooters under Rs 1.5 lakh that qualify.
Bajaj Chetak
The Bajaj Chetak is the most affordable option here at Rs 91,504 (ex-showroom), making it the one where the Rs 30,000 subsidy plus road tax savings, covers the largest
percentage of the upfront cost. It runs a 3.2kWh battery with a claimed range of 126 km under MIDC and uses an IP67-rated motor. It's the only fully metal-bodied scooter on this list which matters for long-term durability but also adds weight compared to rivals.
Ola S1 Pro
The Ola S1 Pro at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom) gets up to 4kWh battery with a 242 km claimed IDC range along with 14.75 hp of peak power. The electric scooter charges via a wall socket or the Ola hypercharger network and gets a 7-inch touchscreen. Ola's service infrastructure has improved significantly but is still building toward the scale of TVS and Bajaj dealerships.
Ather Rizta
The Ather Rizta is considered as one of the best family scooters currently available in the market. The most affordable variant in the lineup costs Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers 56 litres of total storage split between the boot and a frunk, a wide pillion backrest, a 5.2-inch instrument display, an 8-year battery warranty and a host of colours to choose from, including single-tone and dual-tone options.
TVS iQube
The TVS iQube is priced at Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The available battery packs range from 2.2kWh to runs on a 5.3kWh, while the range extends from 94 km to 212 km. On the feature front, the electric scooter comes with the SmartXonnect suite for navigation and call alerts through the handlebar display and benefits from TVS's 2,800-plus outlet network across India — the most extensive service reach on this list.
Ampere Nexus
The Ampere Nexus, which carries a starting price tag of Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom) uses a 3.01kWh battery with a claimed range of 136 km, a 6-inch colour screen as well as 22 litres of under-seat storage. Greaves Electric's Ampere brand is a smaller player compared to TVS or Ola but the Nexus punches reasonably on specs at its price and its dealer network is expanding steadily in tier-2 cities. The scooter also adorns a modern design language and comes in funky colours to attract a wider customer base.
