Kia has unveiled the 2026 Seltos in India, marking the global debut of the next-generation model ahead of its price announcement on January 2, 2026. The new Seltos comes with a larger footprint, a new K3
platform, updated styling as well as a significantly upgraded interior featuring the brand’s latest tech package. It also introduces Level 2 ADAS, multiple powertrain options and a wide list of convenience features, which are aimed at broadening its appeal in the midsize SUV segment. Bookings have opened with a token amount of Rs 25,000, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from mid-January 2026.

2026 Kia Seltos: Design Details
The 2026 Kia Seltos features the brand's latest global design language, along with a new front face, a more imposing tiger nose grille, vertical LED DRLs, and new bumpers finished in a very enticing shade of gunmetal. The rear profile gets connected taillamps, and a reworked tailgate, and some new patterns for its alloy wheels. With new colour options like Morning Haze and Magma Red, this SUV will now have ten exterior paint options on offer.
2026 Kia Seltos: Engine Options
Coming to the mechanical aspect, Kia offers three 1.5-litre engines: a naturally aspirated petrol (115 bhp, 144 Nm), a turbo-petrol T-GDI unit (160 bhp, 253 Nm) and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel (116 bhp, 250 Nm). Transmission options cover 6MT, 6iMT, IVT, 7DCT and 6AT, depending on engine and variant choice.
2026 Kia Seltos: Interior And Safety Features
Inside, the 2026 Seltos receives a completely redesigned dashboard, complemented by dual-tone leatherette seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel with Kia’s repositioned logo. The digital cluster and infotainment now sit within a single 30-inch curved display module. Even with the upgraded tech, Kia has kept physical buttons and rotary knobs for essential functions.
Six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), hill-start assist, disc brakes on all wheels, and a 360-degree camera are part of the safety kit. This SUV also boasts Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology with features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and navigation-backed smart cruise control.

2026 Kia Seltos: Variants And Accessory Packs
Kia will offer four core trims: HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX with optional variants and accessory packages. The available add-on packs include: Convenience, Premium, ADAS, and an X-Line styling pack, which can be had with top GTX grades. The official pricing will be announced on January 2, 2026.
