The SUV, which is essentially a badge-engineered model of the internationally sold Maxus D90, is a larger alternative to the Gloster, and has a more rugged design, and a commanding road presence. The engine, however, is the same as the smaller sibling. The Majestor price in India is expected to start at Rs 40 lakh and reach up to Rs 45 lakh. Upon its launch, the MG SUV will directly compete against the Toyota Fortuner, the Jeep Meridian, and the Skoda Kodiaq. Those interesting in purchasing the MG car can reserve the model either online through
the official website or by visiting the nearest authorised dealership. For online process, buyers have to go through the following steps:
- Go the official MG Motor India website.
- Click on the ‘Pre-Reserve Majestor’ option.
- Get your identity verified by entering mobile number and providing the OTP.
- Once verified, buyers can select their preferred model variant and exterior colour.
- After making the choice, enter PIN code and choosing a nearby dealership.
- In the final step, buyers will be required to give personal details such as name, contact number, and email ID.
- Make the payment of Rs 41,000 to complete the pre-reservation process.
Customers who want to go through the offline route to book the Majestor can visit their nearest authorised dealership. The concerned representative will offer them detailed information about available variants, delivery timelines, colour options, and ready stock before completing the booking formalities.
Note that the MG is offering a special ownership package, incuding complimentary roadside assistance coverage for five years, as well as a labour-free service package valid for the same duration, among others. However, this package will be exclusive to only the first 3,000 customers who book the Majestor SUV.

MG Majestor Engine
The upcoming Majestor will have the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo engine that also does duty on the Gloster. The unit churns out a peak power output of 215.5hp and 478Nm, and is mated to a ZF 8-speed torque-converter automatic.
