Aprilia India has just slashed the prices of its middleweight motorcycles, the RS 457 and Tuono 457. Both motorcycles are now available at lower ex-showroom prices as compared to before. This revision has come after the brand had previously increased the prices of the models due to the GST 2.0 implementation. While the reduction is a welcome move for prospective buyers, Aprilia India has not yet officially clarified the reason behind the latest correction. The price of the Aprilia RS 457 now stands at Rs 4.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition replica model carries a price tag of about Rs 4.38 lakh (ex-showroom). For those who don't know. the RS 457 is a fully-faired offering from Aprilia in the 450cc class and is positioned as a sport-focused bike. Apart from the price revision, there are no changes to the motorcycle’s mechanicals or specifications. The RS 457 continues to use the same 457cc parallel-twin engine and feature set as before.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Revised Pricing

The Aprilia Tuono 457 now retails at Rs 3.97 lakh (ex-showroom) after the price drop. It carried a higher sticker price previously because this was the post-GST 2.0 updated model, just like the RS 457 with no feature or hardware changes to go along with this price revision. In naked roadster category, the Tuono 457 shares its engine platform and core components with RS 457 but gets different riding dynamics plus styling.
