If you are in the market to buy an electric vehicle and the Tata Nexon EV is on your shortlist, then there is good news as the automaker has announced two new colour options for 2026. Both updated colour options come
with a dual-tone finish and will be available in the Nexon EV 45 (long range) variants. The colour option update comes amidst rising competition from other brands that are catching up with the electric SUV's market share. Here's what you need to know about the new update.
Tata Motors has now unveiled the Pure Grey and Ocean Blue colour schemes for the Nexon EV 45. The Pure Grey option gives the Nexon EV a pastel grey shade that looks stealthy and the Ocean Blue brings a turquoise-like blue shade, which is soothing to the eyes. Both colour options will be available in a dual-tone finish, meaning the SUV's roof and pillars will be finished in a metallic black shade to give an enhanced visual contrast. The new colours are only available with the Nexon EV 45 model and not the standard Nexon EV. This means that customers who choose to go for the long-range 45 version will have access to the new colours.
The Nexon EV 45 gets the bigger 45 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack that gives it an MIDC combined range of up to 489 km on a full charge. The electric motor produces 144 hp and 215 Nm of torque. Prices fort he Nexon EV 45 range start from Rs 13.99 lakh ex-showroom and go up to Rs 17.29 lakh ex-showroom. It is equipped with hi-tech features such as Level 2 ADAS, Vehicle-2-Load functionality, multiple driving modes and a lot more.

With the addition of the new Pure Grey and Ocean Blue colour options, the Nexon EV 45 is now available in five different colours, including Pristine White, Daytona Grey and Empowered Oxide. On the other hand, customers opting for the Creative variant of the Nexon EV 45 will get access to the white roof paint scheme.
