Hyundai has announced the ARAI-certified mileage figures for the all-new 2026 Venue, which has just gone on sale in India at a starting price of Rs 7.90 lakh (introductory). The second-generation compact SUV continues to offer three engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel.
The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine remains the entry point to the range. It is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces 83 hp and 114.7 Nm of torque. Hyundai claims this version delivers a fuel efficiency of 18.05 kpl.

Next up is the 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol, which produces 120 hp and
172 Nm of torque. This motor is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The manual variant returns 18.74 kpl, while the DCT-equipped model is the most efficient petrol option, with a claimed 20 kpl. That makes it one of the most fuel-efficient turbo-petrol automatics in the subcompact SUV segment. Hyundai has also equipped this engine with Idle Stop & Go (ISG) technology.

For those who prefer diesel, the Hyundai’s 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine continues to be on offer on the new Venue. It develops 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Hyundai claims 20.99 kpl for the diesel manual, making it the most fuel-efficient Venue variant overall. A new diesel-automatic version has joined the lineup for 2026, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Its claimed mileage stands at 17.9 kpl, slightly lower than the manual but still competitive within its segment.
