BMW Motorrad is all set to pull the wraps off its all-new F 450 GS at the EICMA show in Milan tomorrow. This will be BMW’s most affordable adventure bike. The teaser released by BMW shows a glimpse of the tank
and side panel, hinting at a sleek yet rugged design. The F 450 GS isn’t entirely new to Indian enthusiasts. BMW first previewed its concept version at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. But the EICMA unveil will finally give us a look at the production model.

Powering the F 450 GS will be a brand-new 450cc parallel-twin engine developed in collaboration with TVS. The motor is expected to produce around 48 bhp. The bike will be based on a lightweight chassis to keep handling sharp and manageable.
The setup will likely include a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel combination, making it suitable for mild off-road use without sacrificing on-road stability. Suspension duties will be handled by upside-down forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. BMW may also offer a higher variant with fully adjustable suspension for serious riders who love to fine-tune their setup.
When it comes to features, BMW won’t be cutting corners. Expect all-LED lighting, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and a 6.5-inch TFT display similar to what we see on bigger GS models.

Once launched, it will take on rivals like the Honda NX500, CFMoto 450 MT, and the upcoming Brixton Storr 500. For India, it also marks the return of a compact GS after the G 310 GS was discontinued.
