What is the story about?
Suzuki
has added Glass Blaze Orange to the GSX-8R lineup internationally — first in Germany, then in the UK, where it went on sale in May 2026. No extra cost over the existing colours. India does not get it yet. The GSX-8R here is still sold in two options only: Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Black. Suzuki Motorcycle India has made no announcement about bringing the orange here. For Indian buyers keeping an eye on this, here is what is confirmed and what is not.
What The Colour Looks Like And Where It Stands Globally
The finish:
- Glass Blaze Orange is a solid bright orange — not metallic, not pearl
- Upper fairing panels are orange, lower sections stay black, creating a two-tone split
- Frame and swingarm remain black throughout
- Suzuki's global motorcycle page already lists it as part of the official 2026 GSX-8R colour set internationally
- Germany got it first, UK followed in May 2026
- It sits alongside Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue in those markets — three colour options total for 2026
- No price premium in any market where it is available — same price as any other colour
- The GSX-8R launched in 2023 with black as its only real option
- Orange is the first colour that genuinely changes the character of how the bike looks
- Neither of the two main rivals at this price point — Kawasaki Z900 or Yamaha MT-09 — offers an orange option in India right now
