Bajaj’s Dominar range continues to offer solid value in the quarter-litre and 400cc segments for 2025. The lineup includes two models; the Dominar 250 and the Dominar 400, both designed for those who want a capable highway machine without spending a fortune.
Bajaj Dominar 250: Price and Colours
The Bajaj Dominar 250 is priced at Rs 1.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The Dominar 250 is available in three striking colours: Canyon Red, Sparkling Black, and Citrus Rush.

Bajaj Dominar 250: Engine and Performance
Powering the bike is a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 27 hp at 8500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and now comes with four ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road.
Bajaj claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 35.03 km/l, which makes it one of the most fuel-efficient 250cc street bikes in its class.
Bajaj Dominar 250: Chassis and Hardware
The Dominar 250 uses a beam-type perimeter frame and features a 37mm USD front fork with 135mm travel and a Nitrox-equipped monoshock at the rear with 110mm wheel stroke. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, both with dual-channel ABS. Tyre sizes stand at 100/80-17 at the front and 130/70-17 at the rear. The bike weighs 180 kg and has a seat height of 800 mm, ground clearance of 157 mm, and a 13-litre fuel tank.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The Dominar 400 is available in two colour options: Aurora Green and Charcoal Black.

The larger Dominar gets a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine that makes 40 hp at 8800 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. Like the 250, it comes with four ride modes and a 6-speed gearbox. The ARAI-certified mileage stands at 30 km/l, offering a good balance between power and efficiency.
Bajaj Dominar 400: Chassis and Hardware
Built on the same perimeter frame, the Dominar 400 features 43mm USD forks at the front and a Nitrox monoshock at the rear. It uses the same 320mm/230mm disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS. Tyres are wider, with a 110/70-17 at the front and 150/60-17 at the rear. The Dominar 400 weighs 192 kg and has identical ground clearance (157 mm) and fuel capacity (13 L).
