Audi India is trying to level up with other premium automakers to provide a unique and personalised in-car experience. That's why Audi has just introduced a brand-new 'My Auras' feature, which is designed to offer a mood-based cabin feel for owners. The system integrates multiple vehicle functions into predefined and customisable modes. What's all the more interesting is that these can be activated by a single command. With My Auras, Audi India aims to expand the role of software-driven personalisation in its vehicles, and focus on how lighting, audio as well as climate settings interact inside the cabin. This feature is a part of the brand's broader connected and digital strategy in India. It has been rolled out to enhance the day-to-day usability
rather than alter the hardware or performance of the model.

What Is My Auras and How It Works
My Auras is a software-based feature that allows drivers to control multiple in-cabin parameters through preset or user-defined modes. Each aura combines ambient lighting themes, infotainment sound profiles, and air-conditioning behaviour into a single selection. Instead of adjusting each function individually, drivers can switch the overall cabin mood with one tap or voice command. Audi states that the system is designed to reduce driver distraction by simplifying in-cabin controls while driving.
Key Features And Personalisation Options
The My Auras system offers factory-set modes such as “Dynamic,” “Relax,” and “Focus,” each configured for a different driving or travel scenario. In addition, users can create custom auras by selecting preferred lighting colours, fan intensity, temperature settings, and audio profiles. These preferences can be saved and reused, allowing the cabin environment to adapt to individual occupants. The feature is integrated into Audi’s existing infotainment interface and does not require additional hardware.
Models And Availability In India
My Auras is being rolled out on select Audi models sold in India, primarily those equipped with advanced infotainment systems and ambient lighting packages. These include Audi Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, A4, A6, RS Q8 and Q8 e-tron. You will find this feature MY24 units onwards.

Why This Matters in the Indian Market
The launch of My Auras reflects a growing emphasis on digital and experience-led features in the Indian luxury car segment. As buyers increasingly value personalisation and connected technology, such software-driven systems allow manufacturers to differentiate models without structural changes. For Audi India, My Auras positions in-cabin experience as a configurable element, aligning with broader industry trends toward user-centric vehicle software.
