The Maruti Suzuki Invicto prices in India have been revised as part of the most recently announced price hike. Unlike the broader price adjustment seen across some of the carmaker's other models, the price revision for the Invicto is limited to just one variant. The rest of the lineup continues at existing prices. Following the price hike, the MPV continues to be priced between Rs 24.97 lakh and Rs 28.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Here's a detailed look at the revised prices and what the change means for prospective buyers.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Which Variants Are Affected?
Only the Invicto Zeta Plus 8-seater variant has seen the price hike, and is now more expensive by Rs 25,000. Compared to its previous price of Rs 25.02 lakh, the Invicto MPV's Zeta Plus 8-seater variant now costs Rs 25.27 lakh. The
remaining variants in the lineup remain untouched. The Zeta Plus 7-seater continues to be priced at Rs 24.97 lakh, while the top-of-the-range Alpha Plus 7-seater keeps its price tag of Rs 28.60 lakh. Mechanically, the Invicto remains the same. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine comes mated to an electric motor to make a hybrid powertrain setup. The engine can produce 172bhp and 188Nm, while the motor produces 11bhp. As a result, the MPV offers a total power of 183bhp. For transmission, it uses only an e-CVT gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto: What It Means For Interested Buyers
As for the Invicto, the price increase is relatively modest and applies to just one variant. The MPV belongs to the niche and feature-rich MPV segment; the additional premium of Rs 25,000 is unlikely to deter its target audience. That said, buyers considering the Zeta Plus 8-seater will now have to shell out more than before. In terms of rivals, the Invicto MPV locks horns with the Toyota Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, and Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 in the premium family segment.
