TVS Motor-owned Norton Motorcycles will likely launch its high-performance V4 superbikes, the Manx and the Manx R in India by the end of the year. However, ahead of that, prices for the flagship version, the Manx R have been revealed for the UK market. Although the launch timeline for India has yet to be revealed, the Manx R, alongside its standard counterpart, the Manx and the adventure duo, the Atlas and the Atlas GT have been listed on the India website, with colour options. The Manx R carries a starting price tag of £20,250 (approximately Rs 26 lakh), and is available in four variants, including the First Edition, which is limited to 150 units. Norton has priced the standard
variant of flagship Manx R at £20,250 (approximately Rs 26 lakh). The Apex variant is slightly pricier at £24,750 (about Rs 31.74 lakh), while the Signature versions sit at the top of the lineup, priced at £38,750 (approximately Rs 49.71 lakh). Norton has not revealed the prices for the First Edition, which carries a few little extras over these models.
India-bound Norton Manx R Launched In UK: Design, Hardware
The all-new Norton Manx R carries the touch of the race bikes that dominated the Isle of Man TT in the 1950s and 1960s but carves its own identity with modern engineering and premium hardware. The bike gets a lightweight die-cast aluminium frame paired with a single-sided braced aluminium swingarm, while the suspension chores are taken care of by fully adjustable semi-active Marzocchi units at both ends, including 45mm USD forks up front and a rear monoshock. Braking comes from twin 320mm front discs with Brembo Hypure radial callipers and Bosch Cornering ABS EVO, along with a 245mm rear disc setup. The bike comes equipped with lightweight Rotobox Bullet Pro carbon-fibre wheels wrapped in sticky Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP-V4 tyres. It has a single-seat setup, and and an Akrapovic titanium 4-2-1 exhaust system, and an 8-inch TFT display.

The Manx R uses a 1,200cc, 72-degree liquid-cooled V4 engine that makes 206hp at 11,500rpm and 130Nm at 9,000rpm. All variants has the same setup.

Norton Manx R: Expected Price In India
While it is too early to comment on price, the high-performance Manx R could carry an ex-showroom price of somewhere between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh in India. It will compete against the Ducati Panigale V4 S and the BMW M 1000 RR.
