Yamaha has announced a price reduction of Rs 5,000 on the R15 range in India. Following the revision, prices for the Yamaha R15 now start from around Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. The benefit has been introduced as a limited-period anniversary offer and is applicable across authorised Yamaha dealerships. Variant-wise pricing differs based on features, colour options and special editions.

The Rs 5,000 price drop applies to multiple variants of the Yamaha R15 sold in India, including standard trims and select special editions. The R15 variants currently on sale includes R15S, R15 V4, and R15 M. Yamaha R15: Engine And Mechanical Details Remain Unchanged
Despite the price revision, there are no mechanical changes to the Yamaha R15. It continues to be powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 18.14 hp of maximum power and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a slipper clutch and variable valve actuation (VVA) technology for improved performance across the rev range.

The Yamaha R15 continues to offer features such as full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity on higher variants, traction control, quick-shifter (on select trims) as well as dual-channel ABS.
