Ultraviolette Automotive has introduced its new electric motorcycle, the X47, in India with an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 2.49 lakh. The company has confirmed that this price will later move
up to Rs 2.74 lakh once the initial offer ends. Orders are open now, with deliveries scheduled to begin on October 25, 2025. The X47 is positioned as an adventure-touring style EV with several off-road cues, advanced rider-assistance features, and a design meant to appeal to riders looking for both road and mild off-road functionality.

Price, Range, Power And Performance
The Ultraviolette X47 ADV is powered by an electric motor producing 40 hp and delivering 610 Nm torque at the wheel. It includes a 10.7 kWh battery pack, which provides an IDC-rated range of 323 km on a single charge. The top speed is limited to 145 km/h, while it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. Charging is handled via a 1.6 kW onboard charger. The battery system includes protections such as surge protection and earth leakage protection.
Design, Features And Variant Details
Design-wise, the X47 borrows styling cues from Ultraviolette’s F77, with a shared headlight design and angular bodywork. It comes with a single-piece seat, cast aluminium construction, a windscreen, high handlebars, and knuckle guards. A “Desert Wing” edition is also offered. Feature-list includes ADAS (marketed as “UV Hypersense”) with radar support, offering rear collision warning, lane change assist, overtake alert among others. Additional tech includes dual-channel ABS, four levels of traction control, nine-level regenerative braking, dynamic stability control, and an instrument cluster with connectivity and an auxiliary screen for ADAS outputs.

For buyers, the X47 offers a blend of road-touring EV performance and adventure styling plus advanced safety tech, at a price point that undercuts many premium ICE bikes and some rival EVs.
