Design
The fully-faired bodywork of Karizma XMR is sharp and layered, giving it a big-bike presence that stands out on crowded Indian roads. The aggressive front fascia is highlighted by a Class-D LED projector headlamp flanked by distinctive H-shaped DRLs, while the sculpted fuel tank flows neatly into the tail section.

Available in colours like Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red, Matte Phantom Black and Combat Grey, the bike caters to both flamboyant and understated tastes. Despite its
sporty stance, raised clip-on handlebars ensure the riding posture remains comfortable enough for longer journeys, which makes it more than just a weekend thrill machine.
Engine And Performance
The biggest talking point is what lies beneath the fairing. This is Hero’s first liquid-cooled DOHC engine, which is a significant leap forward. The 210cc, single-cylinder motor produces 25.5 PS at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, figures that place it firmly in the sporty commuter segment.
Paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, the Karizma XMR promises smoother gear shifts and less fatigue in city traffic. On open roads, the engine comes alive beyond 6,000 rpm, delivering a strong mid-range punch and a top speed of around 130 km/h. The digital console, available as an LCD or a more premium TFT display, supports Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and even music control. Ride, Handling And Practicality
Underpinning the motorcycle is a steel trellis frame, another first for Hero, designed to improve rigidity and handling. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks (USD forks on newer variants) and a 6-step adjustable rear monoshock, offering a balance between comfort and cornering stability.
With a kerb weight of 163.5 kg and a seat height of 810 mm, the bike remains accessible to a wide range of riders. Braking is handled by petal disc brakes (300 mm front and 230 mm rear) with dual-channel ABS, ensuring safety under hard braking. Fuel efficiency, often a deciding factor in India, stands at a claimed 41.55 km/l, with real-world figures closer to 35 km/l.
