Honda Cars India May 2026 Sales: Which Models Are In Demand?
The Honda City has been a benchmark for the brand ever since
its launch. The mid-size sedan was updated recently, and is now priced starting at Rs 11.99 (introductory, ex-showroom). While the engine options remain the same, the new City now gets an aggressive front fascia. It also comes with a larger touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera. The City continues to attract family buyers and long-distance commuters. The strong brand loyalty and consistent feature updates have kept it relevant despite rising SUV competition.
Apart from the City, Honda sees demand for the Amaze. The new-gen Amaze underwent a makeover in 2024. It now comes with an updated design, inspired by the larger sibling, the Elevate, as well as features such as a new floating infotainment, Level-2 ADAS, and wireless phone charging. It continues to be a preferred choice among first-time car buyers and fleet operators for its fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs. Another popular model in the range is the Elevate SUV. In the mid-size segment, the car remains a preferred option for many buyers due to a massive 458 litres of boot space, a class-leading ground clearance of 220mm, and Level-2 ADAS.
