If you are looking to invest in a sporty and capable SUV but the current crop of options under the Rs 25 lakh budget feels dated, then waiting till late November might be the right move for you. That is
because a couple of major SUV launches are confirmed to take place in the coming weeks and these will include both compact and mid-sized SUV options that will be available in both ICE and all-electric drivetrain options.

Among the larger SUVs due to launch this month is the Tata Motors Sierra, which will be reborn as an all-new lineup. The carmaker has started sharing teaser videos of the new SUV on social media and an enthusiast's keen eye can spot several highlight features that had not been confirmed up till now. In this article, we will discuss several confirmed features that will make the new Sierra an attractive proposition.
1. Panoramic Sunroof In Tata Sierra:
The latest teaser shared by Tata Motors confirms that the upcoming Sierra SUV will feature a panoramic glass sunroof, which will be electrically operated. The sunroof unit seamlessly integrates into the blacked-out bezel shape that wraps around the second-row windows and gives the SUV a presence that is similar to its predecessor's large window area. In the older 3-door Sierra, the large second-row glass was a unique design element that the carmaker wants to keep alive without compromising on practicality.
2. Triple-Screen Dashboard Layout:
Another major highlight of the new Sierra that the teaser visuals confirm is the panoramic display unit that will take center stage. The display unit will presumably feature three screens, including the driver information display, the infotainment touchscreen and a passenger display for entertainment. This would also make the new Sierra the first Tata Motors car to feature a triple-screen layout.
3. 2025 Sierra Interior Colour Scheme:
Another key highlight that the Sierra teasers have confirmed is the colour scheme that we can expect inside the new SUV's cabin. The visuals clearly show a dual-tone theme that features a blacked-out dashboard and a light grey colour for the seat upholstery. The second row will also feature a pair of sunshades built into the door panels and the second row seat will come with a headrest for the middle passenger as well.
Other key elements that one can spot in the Tata Sierra teaser videos include diamond-cut alloy wheels, a piano black front grille and a pair of LED fog lamps. The new SUV is also expected to launch with an extensive suite of safety features, including six airbags. Tata Motors has confirmed that it will launch the new Sierra on November 25, 2025. The brand is also expected to launch the all-electric version of the new Sierra alongside the ICE version.
