Bajaj Auto will not increase prices for the Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 despite the recent hike in Goods and Services Tax (GST) for large-capacity motorcycles. This decision effectively shields buyers
from a potential price jump of up to Rs 20,000 during the festive season.
Under the revised GST structure, motorcycles above 350cc have moved from the earlier 28% tax slab to 40%. This change has led to significant price increases across the segment. Bajaj’s decision to absorb the hike will help maintain demand for its flagship models. As of now, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z continues at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.92 lakh, while the Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh. Both motorcycles remain among the most competitively priced options in their segment.
