New Bentley Supersports:
Bentley promised a limited-production, internal combustion car and they delivered by announcing the new Bentley Continental GT Supersports performance tourer on November 5. The Supersports will be Bentley's first rear-wheel drive Continental GT and also the lightest from the brand's modern era. As the name Supersports suggests, the nameplate has been revived only for the fourth time in the carmaker's history and will have a strictly limited production run.
Upcoming Bentley Electric SUV:
Coming to details regarding Bentley's first battery electric vehicle (BEV), the brand has confirmed that the new EV platform will be capable of gaining 100 miles (160 km) range in under 7 minutes. The unnamed Bentley EV is currently under development on a global performance programme, with tests being conducted on prototypes across different locations.
Hybrids Turn Long-Term Game For Bentley:
Furthermore, Bentley announced that it will continue to offer hybridised models such as the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga Speed till 2035 at least. Bentley further confirmed that the brand's previous target of going full-electric by 2035 could be extended based on customer preferences towards the ICE, Hybrid or BEV models.

Interestingly, the brand did not make any firm commitments in terms of when it plans to discontinue ICE-only cars like the limited-run Continental GT Supersports. 'By introducing new internal combustion engine models, and offering hybrid powertrains until at least 2035, we are ensuring that every Bentley customer can continue to experience the full breadth of our performance and craftsmanship.'
