The Skoda Peaq EV is the Czech automaker's new electric SUV positioned above the Enyaq and Elroq. Based on the Vision 7S Concept that debuted at Auto Expo 2025, the car features Skoda's new design language and is available with two battery packs and three variants. While Skoda is yet to confirm its India launch, the e-SUV is reportedly under evaluation for the market. If introduced via the CBU route, the Skoda Peaq price in India could be around Rs 90 lakh to Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).
Skoda Peaq EV Exterior
The Peaq EV has the brand's Modern Solid design language. As seen in the exterior design sketches teased, the car retains several design elements of the Vision 7S concept, including slender T-shaped LED lighting elements and the glossy black Tech-Deck Face. A unique
loop-shaped design has joined the lighting elements with the black trim, and the sculpted bonnet and Volcano Line bumper add to the electric SUV's tough looks. In profile, the Peaq stands out with a strong shoulder line, wide D-pillars carrying Skoda lettering, and, for the first time on a Skoda, flush-fitting door handles. The SUV also boasts the brand’s best-ever drag coefficient of 0.249. At the rear, it retains the slim T-shaped taillamps. Buyers get ten colour options to choose from.
Skoda Peaq EV Interior
The newly unveiled Peaq EV can seat up to seven people. It offers the massive 935 litres of boot space with a 37-litre front trunk (frunk). The optional Relax Package transforms the cabin into a luxury lounge with ventilated and massage-equipped front seats, ergonomic leg rests, a fold-out centre console table, pillows, and a dedicated wellbeing app. There's also a bespoke 16-speaker Sonos sound system producing 755 W of output. Skoda has introduced redesigned controls for a more intuitive user experience in the Peaq EV and given it five distinct interior themes, along with multiple equipment packs that let customers personalise the SUV as per their taste.
Skoda Peaq EV Powertrain
The Skoda Peaq will be offered with two battery pack options across three variants – Peaq 60, Peaq 90, and Peaq 90x. The base Peaq 60 comes with a 63kWh battery, a rear-mounted electric motor with 201hp and 350Nm, and a claimed range of over 450 kilomegtres. The top-of-the-line Peaq 90 and 90x variants get their power from a bigger 91kWh battery, with outputs of 282hp and 295hp, respectively. While the Peaq 90 remains rear-wheel drive, the Peaq 90x adds a front motor for all-wheel drive, enabling a 0 to 100km/h sprint in as little as 6.7 seconds. The flagship model has a claimed range of more than 610 kilometres, while the Peaq 90 stretches that to 640 kilometres on a single charge. As for the charging, the batteries can be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. The electric SUV also supports one-pedal driving, bidirectional charging (V2L, V2H, and V2G).
