TVS announced that it had its strongest-ever monthly performance in May 2026. It sold 5.67 lakh units overall last month, including two-wheelers and three-wheelers, representing a year-on-year growth of 31.37% over last year's 4.31 lakh units. In the 2W segment, the Jupiter, Apache, and iQube range contributed to the success.
Motorcycles And Scooters Remained Key Growth Drivers
TVS sold 2.74 lakh motorcycles in May of this year, which shows a healthy growth of 29.45% over the 2.12 lakh units sold in May 2025. The segment accounted for over 50% of TVS's total two-wheeler sales. It was accompanied by the scooter segment, which also delivered a strong performance. The sales surged to 2.21 lakh units from 1.67 lakh units a year ago, resulting in a gain of 32.38%. The TVS Jupiter and Ntorq continued
to appeal to 2W buyers in India, helping the section contribute more than 40% of the company's total two-wheeler volumes.
iQube Led Electric Two-Wheeler Growth
As for the electric two-wheelers, TVS maintained its upward trajectory last month. It sold 43,362 electric scooters during the month, compared to last year's 27,976 units. This was a year-on-year growth of 55%. Electric scooters accounted for about 85 of the company's total two-wheeler sales.
Exports Surge As Overall Sales Record High Numbers
TVS posted total two-wheeler sales of 5.43 lakh units last month, registering a rise of 30.5%. For reference, the company sold 4.16 lakh 2Ws in May 2025. The sales in the domestic market stood at 3.85 lakh units, while exports jumped to 1.59 lakh units, showing an increase of 48.34%.
In the three-wheeler segment, TVS witnessed a rise of 55.36% to 23,474 units. Domestic and export demand contributed to this success.

With combined domestic and export sales reaching 5.67 lakh units (2W and 3W), TVS Motor achieved its highest-ever monthly sales performance last month.
