Yamaha Motor India has issued a voluntary recall affecting its RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooters, with 3,06,635 units included in the safety campaign. The recall applies to vehicles manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025, and is focused on a potential issue with the front brake calliper that under certain conditions may not perform as expected. Yamaha is offering free replacement of the affected part at authorised service centres across India. Owners can check eligibility using their chassis number through Yamaha’s official recall page or by contacting dealers. This move is precautionary and geared toward ensuring rider safety, though the company hasn’t reported any specific incidents linked to the brake issue.

Details Of The Recall Campaign
The recall covers two popular 125cc hybrid scooters in Yamaha’s Indian lineup. Both the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid are included if they were made within the specified timeframe. The issue relates specifically to the front brake caliper, which on some units may show limited braking function under certain operating conditions. Yamaha has launched this recall to address the concern before it leads to potential safety risks on the road.
Affected Units And Eligibility Check
Owners of these Yamaha scooters can check if their vehicle is part of the recall by visiting the Service section on the official Yamaha Motor India website. On the “Voluntary Recall Campaign” page under “Scooter 125”, entering the vehicle’s chassis number will confirm whether it’s included. Alternatively, customers can reach out to authorised Yamaha service centres or use Yamaha’s customer support helpline for assistance.

If you own a RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid or Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter, it’s advisable to verify your chassis number and contact a Yamaha authorised service centre as soon as possible to ensure the brake issue is addressed.
