2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been launched in India at Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom). This is a straightforward Rs 17,000 price increase over last year's model with no mechanical or feature changes. The 296cc parallel-twin continues to make 39 hp of maximum power and 26.1 Nm of peak torque. The bike also keeps its 785mm seat height, so nothing about day-to-day usability has shifted either. This matters because buyers compare this Kawasaki Ninja model against the likes of the TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC 390. New Kawasaki Ninja 300: Seat Height And Weight

Kawasaki's own spec sheet lists the seat height at 785mm, with a 179kg kerb weight and 140mm of ground clearance. These figures are unchanged

from before. The engine and chassis carry over completely too: the same 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, 6-speed gearbox and steel-tube diamond frame paired with a 37mm telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable rear shock.

A 17-litre fuel tank remains standard which gives the bike reasonable range for a supersport in this class, though Kawasaki hasn't published an official ARAI mileage figure for the Ninja 300 in India.

What Features Does It Actually Have?

The 2027 model retains the projector LED headlamps and taller windscreen introduced back in 2025 along with dual-channel ABS as the only major electronic safety aid. It skips the ride modes, traction control and quickshifters that some newer rivals now offer, and it remains one of the few bikes in its segment still using an analogue tachometer instead of a fully digital display. For 2027, it's being offered in a single Lime Green colour option only.

How Does It Compare To Rivals?

Against the TVS Apache RR 310, priced Rs 2.62 lakh to Rs 2.78 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ninja 300 costs meaningfully more while offering fewer electronic rider aids though it counters with a more premium badge and proven engine reliability.

The KTM RC 390, at Rs 3.32 lakh (ex-showroom), sits almost at the same price point but with a larger single-cylinder engine producing significantly more power, making it the more direct value comparison for buyers deciding between the two.
