The Ultraviolette F77 is India’s first high-performance electric motorcycle which produces 30 kW of peak power, 100 Nm torque and can reach speeds up to 155 km/h. With a large 10.3 kWh battery, it can travel up to 323 km on a single charge according to IDC, which makes it not just fast, but also highly practical for daily use. Features like Bosch dual-channel ABS, multiple traction control levels, regenerative braking, and Ultraviolette’s in-house Violette AI system offer a smart and safe ride for new and experienced riders alike.
But the biggest highlight at Motorcycle Live was the global unveiling of the X-47 Crossover, a one-of-its-kind motorcycle equipped with integrated radar technology, which is a first in the world for motorcycles. This radar-based safety system uses sensors to detect blind spots, warn riders about vehicles approaching from behind, help with safer lane changes and even prevent rear collisions. This technology which is known as UV HyperSense, makes the X-47 one of the safest motorcycles ever showcased.
Another major attraction was Tesseract, which is Ultraviolette’s upcoming electric scooter. This is the first scooter to feature both radar and dashcam technology, along with a 7-inch touchscreen, smart mirrors with safety alerts, 14-inch wheels and 34 litres of under-seat storage. It is designed to make everyday riding safer and smoother.
Ultraviolette also showcased Shockwave, which is a lightweight electric motorcycle built for pure excitement. With 505 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and 0-60 km/h acceleration in just 2.9 seconds, it is a lightweight performance bike and this time electric.
Speaking about the UK launch, Ultraviolette Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam said that entering the UK is a proud moment for the company, especially with the country’s rich motorcycling culture. He also highlighted how the UK-India Free Trade Agreement could further speed up the introduction of advanced mobility technologies.
MotoMondo’s Managing Director Jan Ykema called Ultraviolette’s entry a “historic moment” and said the F77 series aligns perfectly with the UK’s growth toward cleaner transport as restrictions on petrol bikes tighten in the coming years.
With high-tech motorcycles, safety-first innovation and bold design, Ultraviolette’s debut in the UK signals a new chapter in electric mobility.
