Kawasaki has launched the new Z1100 in India at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This super motorcycle continues the brand’s legacy of combining raw power with sleek design, appealing to both thrill-seekers and touring enthusiasts. The 2026 update brings a blend of performance upgrades, smarter tech, and subtle design improvements, making it one of the most exciting launches in the premium naked bike segment this year.
The new Kawasaki Z1100 is equipped with a 1,099cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This beast produces an impressive 134 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm, which ensures a smooth yet thrilling ride every time you twist the throttle. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox that comes with an assist
and slipper clutch, this is a feature that helps prevent wheel hop during aggressive downshifts and makes clutch operation lighter for everyday rides.
The bike’s chassis and suspension setup are shared with the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX, ensuring a balanced mix of stability and agility. The Z1100 features a lightweight aluminum frame paired with Showa suspension units for superior ride quality. The top-spec Z1100 SE version further enhances performance with an Ohlins S46 monoshock featuring a remote preload adjuster, allowing riders to fine-tune suspension settings on the go.

In terms of braking power, the Z1100 comes equipped with 310mm dual front discs with Tokico radial calipers, while the SE variant gets premium Brembo M4.32 calipers and steel-braided brake lines for even sharper stopping power.
On the technology side, Kawasaki has packed the new Z1100 with rider-friendly features, including two power modes (Full and Low), three levels of traction control, a bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, and dual-channel ABS—all monitored by a five-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that constantly tracks the bike’s position and movement for improved safety and handling.
With its muscular design, advanced electronics, and refined power delivery, the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 promises to deliver an exhilarating riding experience while offering everyday usability.
