Variants
The Ather Rizta is available in two variants - Rizta S and Rizta Z, both of which are powered by a 4.3 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that produces 22 Nm of torque and has a top speed of 80 km/h. But both the variants differ in battery size, features and display type.

Battery and Practicality
Rizta’s both variants come with either a 2.9 kWh or 3.7 kWh battery pack, which delivers a range
of up to 159 km on a full charge. Rizta S is equipped with a 7-inch DeepView LCD display, Zip and SmartEco ride modes and a 34 litre under seat storage space, which is ideal for helmets, bags or groceries.
On the other hand the Rizta Z variant has a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, Zip, SmartEco and Eco ride modes and additional connected features. Both variants get telescopic front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, 200 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System) which ensures a comfortable and safe ride.
The charging time of the scooter depends on the battery capacity, as the 2.9 kWh version takes around 8.3 hours for a full charge, while the 3.7 kWh version charges in about 6 hours. Both the models support Ather’s Pro Pack, which have advanced safety and smart features like SkidControl also known as traction control, AutoHold, FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and turn-by-turn navigation.
For technology enthusiasts, the Rizta Z with Pro Pack also offers Google Maps integration, music and call controls, WhatsApp notifications and document storage, which are all accessible through the TFT display.
