TVS Motor Company (TVSMC) has marked a milestone by recording its highest-ever quarterly sales in the second quarter of FY26 as the company crossed the 15 lakh unit sales mark, which reflects the growing demand for its motorcycles, scooters and three-wheelers both in India and international market.
In Q2FY26, TVS reported a 22% growth as compared to the same period last year, with sales increasing from 11.90 lakh units in Q2FY25 to 14.54 lakh units this year for two wheelers. The three-wheeler segment also made a strong name by growing 41% year-on-year, while exports surged 30%, crossing 4 lakh units.
September 2025 itself turned out to be a strong month for TVS, as the company sold 5,41,064 units, which is 12% higher than September 2024. Segregating
this number further:
- Motorcycles grew by 9% which are 2,49,621 units
- Scooters grew by 17% which are 2,18,928 units
- Electric Vehicles (EVs), despite supply challenges for magnets, grew 8% with 31,266 units sold.
Although the domestic market also played a big role in this growth, in India alone, TVS sold 4,13,279 two-wheelers in September, showing a 12% rise from last year. Looking at the International area, this brand also continued its settled performance with 10% growth in exports, while the three-wheeler segment stood out by recording a 60% increase in sales as compared to September last year.
This performance reflects the rising demand for affordable, stylish and fuel-efficient two and three wheelers in India, especially during the festival season. It also showcases how TVS is successfully balancing its wide range, from everyday scooters like the Jupiter, to sporty motorcycles like Apache, and even electric options like the iQube and providing the customers with best of prices to own their desired one.
