Triumph Motorcycles has officially confirmed a price revision across its India lineup starting January 1, 2026. The upcoming hike will impact the brand's popular 400cc models including the Triumph Speed 400, Thruxton 400, Scrambler 400 X, as well as the Speed T4. Price Revision Effective January 1, 2026
Triumph Motorcycles has announced that it will revise prices across all models sold in India starting January 2026. While the
brand has not disclosed model-wise hike amounts yet, the revision will apply uniformly across its portfolio. The company clarified that it had previously absorbed increased costs, including a higher GST slab on motorcycles above 350cc, without passing the burden to customers. The January 2026 revision marks the first such adjustment after that period of price stability.
What The Brand Has To Say
Commenting on the update, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, 'The company emphasises its commitment to providing premium quality products and services to its dealers and customers. Customers planning to purchase a Triumph motorcycle are encouraged to take advantage of the prevailing prices by completing their purchases before the end of December 2025.'
Models Affected By The Hike
Among the most relevant models impacted by the upcoming price hike are the Speed 400, Thruxton 400, Scrambler 400 X, and Speed T4. These motorcycles form the core of Triumph’s locally manufactured 400cc lineup developed in partnership with Bajaj Auto. Since their launch, these models have played a key role in Triumph’s India strategy, offering mid-capacity options positioned below the brand’s larger displacement motorcycles.
Why Triumph Is Revising Prices
Triumph cited rising input costs and operational pressures as the primary reasons for the price revision. The company also noted that it had offered special festive pricing on select 400cc models earlier, while continuing to absorb cost increases internally. With sustained cost escalation, the brand has now decided to recalibrate prices to maintain long-term business viability and service standards.
